The Gunners face another tough examination of their Premier League credentials as they head to Stamford Bridge to take on Maurizio Sarri's side

A high-profile London derby concludes Saturday's Premier League action. Both sides have new men in charge, but it was Maurizio Sarri who got off to the perfect start.

The Blues ran out 3-0 winners against Huddersfield in their opening game of the campaign while the Gunners were beaten 2-0 by reigning champions Manchester City.

Team News

Ashley Maitland-Niles picked up an injury against Manchester City and will be out for six to eight weeks. While Stephan Lichtsteiner deputised well, Unai Emery is also missing the services of Sead Kolasinac, Laurent Koscielny and Nacho Monreal.

Chelsea have no new injury concerns and could welcome back talisman Eden Hazard, who was a second half substitute in their opening game of the season.

Preview

Arsenal struggled to deal with Manchester City's high press at the Emirates and may face the same type of test across London against Sarri's side who will employ similar tactics.

The Gunners' travel sickness was especially evident last season. Arsenal took just one point from their five visits to fellow top six sides in the 2017-18 league campaign and tasted defeat in 11 games in total.

While Emery brings fresh ideas and some new faces to north London, it would be unrealistic to expect too much immediate improvement from a side that struggled so badly on the road last season. With that in mind it's understandable to see Chelsea as odds on favourites to win the game.
