Palace took until the 85th minute to register a shot on goal in the 1-0 defeat by Chelsea.
Will it be a different Palace by the close of the January transfer window? Will they add two or three more players to add to the goal tally? It will be concern if they don't.
Wolves are a good side, and the 3-1 win at Tottenham will kick them on. I had wondered where the goals would come from at Wembley Stadium - how wrong was I?

Wolverhampton Wanderers moved up to seventh in the Premier League after their surprising 3-1 win at Tottenham. Almost as suprising as beating the team second in the table was the fact that Wolves scored three goals. That's the first time it's happened this season and now they will look to build on that win as they host Crystal Palace. Wolves made a promising start to their first season back in the Premier League but then it all seemed to go wrong for them in late October and November with a run of one point from six games. It's been turned around though and only league leaders Liverpool have beaten them in their last six games. Home form has seen them win just two of their last six league games.
Also causing a shock over the festive period were Crystal Palace who won 3-2 at Manchester City the weekend before Christmas. Since then though they have had two home games and managed just a point against Cardiff City and Crystal Palace. They are 14th in the table and only four points above the relegation zone so need some points from somewhere. Before the win at Manchester City they had lost five of their last six away games. Wolves should have gained plenty of confidence from that win against Tottenham and can get three valuable points from this game.
