Arsenal vs Cardiff City tips AnObviousBettor
The past few weeks have not been the best for Arsenal; after their loss to West Ham United, which dented their top four hopes, they restored some confidence with the win over Chelsea but immediately afterwards, they fell to Manchester United in the FA Cup. They know they can’t afford to drop points against Cardiff, with Manchester United having caught up with them on the log and a trip to Manchester City in the horizon. With a run of 11 unbeaten home matches in the league, Arsenal will approach this game in confidence and having posted five straight league wins at their backyard, they are favorites for a win here, but with Arsenal it is never that direct. Three of Arsenal’s last five league matches at home have produced over 2.5 goals, with the Gunners managing two clean sheets. Cardiff on the other hand, have no win in their last four matches, losing three and drawing one. They were eliminated from the FA Cup by Gillingham and the advantage they get going to this game is that they didn’t have an FA Cup game last week and are very fresh, going to the game from a 10 – day rest. They hope to make it count, especially in attack, as they have not scored a goal in the last four matches. Away from home they have one win in 12 matches, and have picked nine losses in the process. Arsenal are unbeaten in eight straight matches against Cardiff and in 36 meetings, they have 16 wins and Cardiff eight.
Arsenal vs Cardiff City tips Michael Owen
Arsenal vs Cardiff Arsenal are unbeaten in their last 11 home Premier League games and have won their last five at the Emirates including an excellent win against Chelsea last time when their high press and controlled aggression was too much for the visitors. It has been a difficult week for Cardiff with new signing Emiliano Sala on board a plane that went missing over the English Channel on Monday. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. The Bluebirds lost 3-0 at St James’s Park in their last league game and it is hard to make a case for them given they have only scored once in their last five league games. Cardiff boss Neil Warnock has managed three previous sides in top-flight football at Arsenal beginning back in 1991 with Notts County. Those clubs – also Sheffield United in 2006 & QPR in 2011 – have yet to score a goal let alone pick up a point. I fear it will be another fruitless trip on Tuesday. Source: Daily Post

Cardiff's first game since their striker Emiliano Sala went missing is going to be a difficult occasion for everyone. What happened to Sala and the plane's pilot is very sad, and a reminder that some things are a lot more important than football matches. Source: BBC
