Manchester United made a strong statement of their intent in the last three outings, beating Tottenham Hotspur, Brighton and Arsenal. There is no doubt the new manager’s impact at Manchester United and the Red Devils are still pushing on with the impact and Burnley will be firm underdogs here. They are coming straight from a heavy loss to Manchester City in the FA Cup and meeting a side straight from a 3 – 1 win over Arsenal doesn’t leave them well placed. They have failed to score in the last two matches and will really hope they can get back there in this game as they are just three points and two places outside the relegation region. Manchester United have seven wins and just one loss in their 11 matches at home in the league this season. They have scored at least two goals in six of the last seven matches at home this season while Burnley have managed two wins and 10 losses in the last 15 away matches. Furthermore, Burnley have not beaten Manchester United in the last eight meetings.
