Seeing Southampton recover to get a point in their game against Crystal Palace was another mark of their recent improvement.
But the Clarets are unbeaten in the Premier League in 2019 and - as I have said before - I think the old Burnley are back.

Two inconsistent teams who will be breathing a little bit easier having opened up a four-point lead over the three relegation places. Both drew in midweek but in very different circumstances. Burnley led 2-0 at Old Trafford, while Southampton had to come from behind to get a point at home to Crystal Palace. Burnley had a terrible run in the Premier League for the first four momths of the season and spent most of that time in the relegation zone. They have turrned it around in recent weeks though with three wins and two draws. Three of their last four home league games have been won and a fourth victory is on the cards here.
Southampton are one place above their opponents but only on goal difference. They have improved since the arrival of their new boss and a win here could take them as much as seven points above the bottom three. The Saints are unbeaten in their last four league games with two wins and two draws. Their lastt three league games have produced wins at Huddersfield and Leicester and a draw at Chelsea. Their defending still causes problens and they only have one clean sheet in their last seven away league games. A tough game to predict but the improved home form of Burnley swings it in their direction.
