Newcastle got an excellent win against Manchester City on Tuesday, but it did leave me looking at the Magpies players and wondering where that type of performance has been all season?
That is the one thing I always wonder about teams that pull out results like that against the top sides.
I know City didn't play well but it is a little bit bizarre when you compare Newcastle's display to some of their other home games this season.
Tottenham, meanwhile, left it late to come back and beat Watford but it was one of their best results for a while when you consider the players they had missing.
I think Spurs will find it tough going again on Saturday.
That win over City was such a good one for Newcastle that it would not surprise me if they did something similar at Wembley, sitting in to nick a point.
Last season, when the Magpies got a very good result they followed it up by stringing a little run together and I can see something similar happening here.

What was looking like a disaster on Wednesday evening actually ended up perfectly ok for Tottenham. They were 1-0 down to Watford and a third straight defeat looked on the cards. Then they fought back to win 2-1 and returned to their dressing room to discover Chelsea had lost and Liverpool failed to win. That leaves them seven points off the top spot and seven ahead of fifth place. The return of Son did the job for Spurs and Fernando Llorente even managed to score at the right end. This is the first game of the Premier League weekend and victory over Newcastle would take them to within four points of Liverpool and ten clear of fifth place Chelsea. They may still be without Harry Kane and Dele Alli but they have won their last two league games.
It promised to be a dismal week for Newcastle but they have managed to get hold of a new player and amazingly beat Manchester City 2-1 at home on Tuesday. They start the weekend in 14th place and five points above the relegaton zone. That was their second league win in a row, though the home win over Cardiff City was more expected. United have only won two away league games this season and they were at Burnley and Huddersfield. This will be a lot harder and the tip is for a Tottenham win.
