West Ham United vs Liverpool tips Michael Owen
West Ham have lost their last four league games against Liverpool and conceded four goals in each of those losses, but they have won their last couple at the London Stadium and will be going all-out to put behind their recent away defeats at AFC Wimbledon and Wolves where they didn’t manage to muster a single shot on target. The Reds will have been disappointed not to have taken full advantage of Manchester City’s slip-up at Newcastle against Leicester, but they are five points clear with fourteen games to go and the title is in their hands. I expect to see Jurgen Klopp’s side return to winning ways on Monday evening. Source: Daily Post
West Ham United vs Liverpool tips Charlie Nicholas
Liverpool did not handle the pressure well (at home to Leicester on Wednesday). They started with a goal in three minutes, but after that they were lethargic with the pass, Salah was denied a lot of space and I think West Ham will look at it and say, 'we will get in your face and get about you'. It also looks like Arnautovic may be struggling to be fit, despite what West Ham say, but they have Hernandez - if they keep him - and Anderson, who can be a real handle and when he does it well, he does it really, really well. So, they will be dangerous and a real test for them and if they play it more like a counterattacking game, it will suit them and Liverpool will be a bit agitated. If I am Pellegrini, then I'm playing this as an away match and let Liverpool have possession. But I just feel this game will suit Liverpool going to the London Stadium and they will nick it, but there could be late drama with Origi coming off the bench to win it. Source: Sky Sports
West Ham United vs Liverpool tips EPLmaster
Liverpool missed out on the chance to go seven points clear at the top of the table when only drawing with Leicester. They are still five points clear, though that could be cut to two if Manchester City can beat Arsenal at the weekend. The Reds have won five of their last six away league games, the other being that loss at Manchester City at the start of January. Livepool just love playing against West Ham with the last four meetings all being won. Not just that but Liverpool have scored four goals in each of those matches. West Ham United are 12th in the Premier League and their midweek 3-0 defeat at Wolverhampton Wanderers was their 11th league loss of the season. They have lost their last three league and cup games including that disastrous 4-2 loss at AFC Wimbledon in the FA Cup. Nine goals have been conceded in those three games and you have to fear for them up against Liverpool's impressive strike force. Only one of their last three home league games have been won and the tip here is for Liverpool to get the win.
