Olympiakos played well tactically to a deservingly 0-0 draw in the 1st leg. All the advantage is in their hands now as they play the 2nd leg on their formidable homeground. They have only lost 1 game on home soil all season last term and that was to PAOK, the champions. Viktoria controlled well in the 1st leg but failed to find the net. Sometimes in football, yes, possession is good but you need to score goals to win. Honestly, there is no point having 60-70% possesion if you can't score to win which means poor conversion rate.
Now, foccussing on tonight's game at the Karaiskakis Stadium, it is seriously going to be hard to believe that Olympiakos will lose this game. They are one of the favourites who regularly qualifies, a team with vast Europe exoerience. They did slack a couple of years back but looking at their form last season, it can be said that Olympiakos is back in good shape.
All that is needed of Olympiakos is to tighten their defence to prevent Viktoria from getting an away goal or two. Their defence were solid last week, more so, they should perform even better at home.
