Leeds have been playing OK at home with a 90% chance of scoring a goal, Derby also have the same 90% chance of scoring away from home and with both teams at the top half of the table it looks to be a match ending with both teams scoring.
Both Rangers and Kilmarnock are in the race for the title, with just one point separating them; Rangers being in second place on 42 points, level with league leaders Celtic and Kilmarnock coming third. They both see the potential of going top in this game and thus we expect a tough fight out there on Wednesday. Kilmarnock are unbeaten in their last five matches, winning four, the most recent being an FA Cup clash Forfar Athletic and they will view Rangers as beatable, especially as they head to this game on just a loss in their last 10 matches, and that was against a much stro0nger opponent – Celtic. Playing at home, Kilmarnock have picked five straight wins, and in these, they have scored two goals or more, while conceding just two goals, and keeping three clean sheets. On the other hand, Rangers had their last competitive game in December 2018, but are on a five match unbeaten run, with three clean sheets. In the last 15 away games, Rangers have managed just five wins but they are unbeaten in their last six away league matches. The last meeting between these two sides ended 1 – 1 in October and Rangers are unbeaten in the last three meetings with Kilmarnock. The teams have met 79 times and Kilmarnock have managed just eight wins while Rangers have 58 wins. 26 of Rangers’ wins over Kilmarnock have come away from home while Kilmarnock have won this clash just twice at home.
There have been no major surprises in the Portuguese League Cup and the semi-finals are being contested by the top four teams in the Primeira League. Sporting Lisbon qualified for the last four by winning Group D. They won their first game against Maritimo but then lost 2-1 to Estoril before qualifying with a convincing 4-1 win over Feirense. Lisbon have only won two of their last four games and lost away at Tondela earlier this month. They have no wins in their last three games against Braga. This game is being played at Braga and Sporting haven't got the best of away records. Their oponents are unbeaten in their last six league and cup games since a 6-2 hammering by Benfica two days before Christmas. They are third in the Primeira League, two points ahead of Sporting Lisbon with only two league defeats this season with only the top two in the table beating them. Five of their last six games have ended in victory and they certainly qualified for this semi-final in style. Braga won all three of their group games despite going 1-0 down at home to Tondela in their opening game. They recovered to win 2-1, then won their next two group matches 5-0 and 4-0. They have home advantage here and in the league have won eight and drawn one of their nine games. Braga look to be in the better form and have a good record against their opponents so the tip is for them to win this semi-final.
